Okay, um…. hello everyone! I felt like giving my two cents. If this offends anyone, i truly am sorry.
My two cents:
First off, let’s recognize that the term “emo” means emotional. Everyone is emotional. How about the term “cutter”? It makes more sense, and doesn’t get such a rise out of people.
Secondly, let’s recognize that we shouldn’t brag about cutting ourselves, or crying ourselves to sleep. It shows that you are very desperate for attention.
Thirdly, let’s recognize that we shouldn’t place ourselves under a label. Sure, you may cut yourself, that doesn’t mean that you should go around calling yourself “emo”.
There are different situations for cutting. You shouldn’t just assume that everyone cuts themselves for merely one reason. It’s a lot more complicated than that.
And also…. once you start cutting yourself, you usually don’t go back. You’re in for life.

okay… some of you are just viewing this from the wrong direction… i’m not gonna call you stupid, because i know how it feels… it hurts, and because that would make me low… and i understand that we all have our own opinions… and “EMO” person can dress any way they would like too.. because no matter what way you dress, that does not in any way have an affect on your feelings…. yea… we all get it.. some of you were born with EVERYTHING! aamzing parents who are there for everything, loved by everyone, get perfect grades, make their parents happy, have everything they want….>>> but then again, some people were born into a world where they have to work for every little thing they get… no matter what THE F**K they do, NOTHING is ever good enough for anyone… their parents are never happy with the things they do…. they turn to cutting and drugs to take away their pain… CUTTING???… yes… some people hurt so much on the inside that soon enough…. all they are on the outside is NUMB… indifferent…. they only pain they feel anymore is what lies on the inside… it never ends… some people are so cut up on the inside that every inch is covered…. it seems that no more cuts and holes can be made… but some how… it can… things begin to eat away at your scar tissue and that hurts even worse… If every hole makes a scar, and every scar marks it place, who is to say that any of us will ever live freely without the trace of pain and suffereing…. NEVER NEVER NEVER judge anyone… because you don’t know them… you don’t know the troubles they may face… and your judgements just make things worse for them….

we werent force to become emo, we just feel very emotional. this is so stupid tho to the ppl that saying emo isnt true. even tho we feel pain, cry, depress, happy, and other shyt like others but ours is kinda different b/c sumthing that happen to us and we feel ingored by others, invisible. but i sometimes i have my happy moments but not all the time or not that long, im mostly sad and i do some of the stuff that emos are stereotype but but in this world i feel hated not loved/like by others so i substitute it with pain with i like the feeling of and i dont do it all the time just when im really depress about shyt that happening to me. but we choose to dress in black clothes, wear eyeliner, hair dyed black and fix in a way thats cool(probably not to ppl that arent emo tho, they think the hair style is ugly or funny looking)b/c we want ppl to know that we love emo/punk music and the style. and not all of us brag about being emo. im emo but i dont brag about it to ppl. ppl dont think im a emo person b/c the way i dress(but some do) they all think im a stoner which is kind true but its the way i act around them but they would call me emo if they all knew how i feel about everything and what i do… but not like i do it then start bragging saying “oh im stone.”or :oh i cut myself. im so emo”. this shyt is stupid, ppl f**king dissing emo’s. The whole world label/stereotype ppl, maybe sum hate it and dont do it but everyone else wont stop and they just label ppl by how they look so F**king shut up about’oh stereotyping is stupid’. And why are you just talking shyt about emo’s? theres other groups too that dresses like the music they love. like rap music, so most ppl that love rap would dress gangster, baggy clothes, hoodies, and other shyt. Thats what we do, we dress to the MUSIC we love. and i feel emotional b/c ppl dont know the shyt i went through when i was little and now but im not going to brag about it b/c i dont want f**king ppl to F**king talk shyt about me. and i think its f**king stupid that ppl say they were emo, they were just f**king posers. and to You_would_love_me person, if you dont like ppl calling you emo then maybe you should dress different or act different. did you ever thought of that? b/c you dont need to talk shyt about us and to the others that are talking about emo is stupid that it shouldnt be a group then why are you reading theses quots and comments? why did you look at emo quots? its stupid that you talking about being emo if you dont know how we feel in the world. alone, that others dont understand us.
