Emo is not a lifestyle or a fashion or a trend or any of the other things that people have called it. It doesn’t mean someone who has cuts on their arms, or cries all the time, or dresses in black. It has nothing to do with that. All it is is a label. A label to categorise people when they have nowhere else to be put. A label to try to explain how they feel that doesn’t come across so well, so it has become a stereotype. Take the word “emo” away, and the person is still the same. And a person is not emo; they just have emo ways of thinking and behaving. They are not the label, they just fall into that category by chance. So give them a chance and get to know them before dismissing them as freaks.

The majority of “emo’s” are little adolescent pipsqueaks who are too cowardly to face up to problems that others come across. Modern days society has become so protective that it’s raising idiots like you lot, who run from problems and try to gain attention by dressing like muppets and slitting your wrists.
Think back to WWI and WWII. Half the people fighting in those wars were your ages (generalising because I don’t know, or havn’t seen any emo’s above the age of 25) and did they go and slit themselves? No! And if you ask me, they were alot more entitled to do so. But they had some backbone, and kept up with it whilst their friends, and possibly family, were getting massacred left, right and centre.
Now consider your problems. You get bullied perhaps? Maybe mommy cut your allowance for a month. I don’t know. Maybe you have a real reason, like, your moms just died recently, or something like that. Fine. Full sympathy for you. But don’t make a bloody scene out of it, deal with it. It’s hard I know, I experienced my parents deaths, both at the same time - car accident. Now that f**king hurt, but do you know what? I dealt with it. I dealt with it without self harm and pointless attention seeking.
Now some of you are going to say things in response to this that aren’t true in any way, shape or form. It’s expected, internet identity, nobody knows who you are, but at least take in what I’ve said and stop being so bloody pathetic. Maybe once you’ve done that you won’t get bullied as much as you have in the past. Why? Because you won’t be considered a Freak for cutting yourselves and making an unnecesary scene.

Drive me crazy… emo is something that you live in painfully and can’t let it go. Some ppl think emo is a freak cause it cut theirself.

At School, they label me Emo just because I’m very sensitive and I cry easily. I even have this stupid classmate who says, “I’m Emo, that’s why I’m alone.”
I totally agree with the comments before mine regarding the issue of Labeling Onself as Emo. I believe in them, nobody’s Emo.
