You know like it said in the beginning “When you are refering to someone has being emo, you are usually stating that they are sensitive, or have a emotional personality. emo truely is a type of music.”
Emo is a type of music weather you say your emo or not are you saying you a type of music? I’m scene not emo (scene type of goth if no one knows :3) I;ve experienced pure darkening pain. These aren’t “emo qoutes” they’re just sad and destroyed love quotes. :/ get it straight.

when i was there u wouldnt leave me alone when i left u cired and 30 days later u moved on but when i came back it was like i was never there so it makes me wonder did u ever really care

I am sick of hearing all of the comments like “Well there is no such thing as Emo” Well there is, some people have hard times in life and they feel like they can get away by cutting them selves. So all you haters… Just stop! It is kinda disrespectful!

but i’m the most cheerful person out of everyone at my school.
sure, i have scars on my arm.
i can’t feel the pain i use to.
i use to cry over nothing.
i got a kick out of watching myself bleed and suffer, but i had a reason for every scar i have.
but my girlfriend made me realize that i do have something worth living for.
i do have a purpose in this world.
so that night, i carved her initals into my hand.
and a heart on my arm.

@hailey I killed both my parents in a car accident i watched my mums head hit the dash board i heard skull crack and splinter weeks later myy best friend died from anorexia and know i live with my grandma that wont let me forget what happened and she says i should have been the onee killed.

In answer to hailey, I have watched a member of my family die, all of my close friends so far have died, my mom and dad have HIV and are dying, I can’t do anything, I get beaten up every day at boarding school, including weekends, and my grades are falling. No I have not starved, but that is something I honestly don’t want to do. So dont give me that sh*t about not having felt proper pain. I sure as hell have and I wont take any f**king sh*t from you either.

Why do they have to cause me this pain ever waking moment? All this pain and suffering i get everyday, its not healthy. They say that they wish to help me with my problems but they have no clue they are the ones causing my problems. Most the time when i am alone i wish i had the ice cold metal against my skin. Look, Emo is a genre of music, which has now been changed to also become a label. If you’re emo you’ll always be emo, but personally i find the label offensive, who are you to judge people, no matter what the circumstances. If you’re bragging about being emo, then you’re probably not, you don’t just decide to be emo, people choose to think that’s what you are, as a way of making you feel even more of an outsider. But if we’re emo WHAT DOES THAT MAKE THEM?? People are entitled to be whatever they want, but bragging about cutting is attention seeking, and labeling people is just plain wrong in every situation. Don’t call people emo until you’ve been through what they have and handled it better. This is just my opinion, sorry if it offends anyone, that wasn’t the intention.

To feel the need to harm yourself constantly is it really being emo or is it being a depressed person that simply allows everyone to push you around and make fun of you? I know that i don’t know how to really descibe what being emo is like but i know what it feels like to feel rejected by others to not feel anything anymore and want to give up putting on a show for the world to see, and only have those few people that somewhat understand me and what i’m saying. But cutting yourself or harming yourself in any other way is only a temporary fix before you have to wake “smell the coffee” and feel that pain again. Do you keep cutting becuase you know the possability that you could go to far or because you want one pain to hold your attenion and suffice for a cover up of your other pains? Use the pain that you know about and make others see that they don’t know anything about you and that you inturn are also a good person in so many ways.

People who self harm are usually in a lot of emotional pain and the only way they feel they can rid themselves of that pain is to cause physical pain to themselves, because it temporarily gets their mind off of their emotions, but herein lies the problem, it is only a temporary fix; therefore, they have to keep repeating the behavior- it is a lot like an addiction.
And since you hate yourself, you feel that others must feel the same way if they knew. You get friends, sure, but you feel as if they can never know you, not really. You feel like you’re alone, and you try to reach out but then you realize that you don’t know how. Not anymore. You’re broken and they’re whole. You feel as if they would never accept you. You’re afraid of judgment, of rejection. You feel like no one will ever care about you. You start to loose yourself.
