Also, personally I found it quite obvious that the quotes were going off of \"stereotypical emo\", and everyone is well aware of the fact that most people don\’t fit into a box.

First of all!

Well for one, a lot of you are right. Really none of those quotes had nothing to do with being emotional. But dude, Half of you are putting yourself under a stereotype. Thats rediculous. You say you dont want people saying sh*t about you and staring at you, well then stop saying stuff about cutting yourself and being sad. Everyone gets sad sometimes. Emo is just a type of music and people have turned it into a style. First it was punk, then people changed it to emo, then scene. It really shouldnt even have a name. It’s really just a way someone dresses or what music they listen to. Some people say they’re emo and some say they’re scene, it all seems the same to me. You say you’re emo just for attention and I think it’s pathetic.
